What is the DermaScan hair test?

It's a short, guided questionnaire about your hair, scalp, lifestyle and health. Your answers are scored against the root causes our team has defined, and your result shows the most likely root cause of your hair loss — and, where it applies, the stage — together with a personalised plan.

Do I have to upload photos of my scalp?

Scalp photos are optional. You can add five angles — front, top, left, right and back — or skip this step and still get your result from your answers alone. Each photo is checked for clarity and the right angle, and you'll be asked to retake any photo that isn't usable.

Is DermaScan a medical diagnosis?

No. DermaScan is a wellness guidance tool, not a medical diagnosis. It helps you understand the likely factors behind your hair loss and follow a structured routine. If you would like a professional opinion, you can book a doctor consultation from your account.

How is my treatment kit chosen?

Each root cause is mapped by our team to a specific treatment kit and products. Your recommended kit is the one mapped to your hair-test result, or the kit a doctor prescribes for you after a consultation. Kits are personalised, so they are only available to order from your own results.

How long does the treatment take?

Every kit has a set programme length. Once you start, your account shows which month of the programme you are in, the milestones for each month, and a daily morning/evening routine built from the products in your kit.

What does the hair coach do?

How can I pay?

You can currently pay by cash on delivery.

Can I cancel an order?

Yes — you can cancel an order from your account at any time before it has been shipped.

How do I track my progress?

Tick off your daily routine to build a streak, and add progress photos as you go. Photos are grouped by treatment month and you can compare any two side by side.

Can I use the DermaScan app and website together?

Yes. It is one account — your hair tests, results, treatment, orders and consultations are the same on the website and in the app.

How is my data handled, and can I delete it?

Your answers and photos are used only to generate your recommendations. You can delete your account from Account settings at any time, which permanently removes your hair tests, photos, orders and consultations.
